The $25 million, 200,000-square-foot Technology Square Research Building (TSRB) is a bricks-and-mortar testament to the state of Georgia’s
desire to build a technology future for its residents. TSRB is the Southeast’s premier facility for next-generation communications
research. It houses five cutting-edge research centers -- Digital Media, the Georgia Electronic Design Center
(GEDC), the Georgia Tech Research Network Operations Center (GT-RNOC), the Graphics, Visualization and Usability (GVU) Center, The Interactive
Media Technology Center (IMTC), and the School of Interactive Computing. And it provides research space for 500 world-class faculty and student
researchers from Georgia Tech’s School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and College of Computing.
The building’s conference facilities – including a 100-seat auditorium, three banquet rooms, sixteen conference rooms, training rooms and video teleconferencing capabilities -- are used to facilitate and showcase the work taking place here.
Located in Midtown Atlanta, TSRB is an integral part of Georgia Tech’s innovative Technology Square complex – a multi-use development that offers a unique blend of business, educational, research and retail space.
