Samsung Design Center (SDC)
The Samsung Design Center (SDC), Samsung Electro-Mechanics’ (SEM) new North American research and development center, opened its doors on August 17, 2005. For the past two years, SDC has been working with research engineers from the Georgia Electronic Design Center and Georgia Tech in the fields of mixed-signal electronics, wireless technology and RFIC technology to develop system-to-IC products and technology for next-generation communication systems. SDC can benefit from Georgia Tech’s leadership in mixed-signal electronics, wireless and RFIC technologies. Working with SDC, in turn, will provide students with valuable real-world experience in electronic design.
